Welcome to Post 126, Bristow Oklahoma

Since our charter in April 6, 1926, our American Legion Post has been welcoming Veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble.

We are veterans, men and women who have served honorably in the armed forces as prescribed by law. Our Post includes more than 150 Legionnaires, who, like all American Legion (www.legion.org) members, are volunteers who serve with a commitment to support our fellow service members and veterans, mentor our young Americans, sponsor community service programs, and advocate for strengthening our nation’s defense and security, patriotism and honor.  

Together we raise money for our veterans and youth support, activities, and charitable community donations with fund-raising, rentals, and public events like dinners and dances at various times each year. We invite you to join us for these events.

Post Members and Sons meet monthly on the second Monday starting at 7:00 pm. Come early at 6:30 for social food and beverages.

Auxillary Unit Members meet monthly on the second Monday starting at 7:00 pm. 

Riders meet the first Friday at 7:00 pm.

All meetings are at the Post.
